Located at the base of iconic Mount Fuji, MDR transformed the dated 1963 architecture and interiors of the lodge into a timeless 5 star destination resort.  Emphasizing the alpine setting and uninterrupted vistas, MDR positioned a new wing of 50 guestroom suites along a quiet hillside knoll.  

 

New outdoor amenities, including a large infinity edge pool, varying temperature spas, outdoor bar, and cabanas have been added.  Indoors, an expanded lobby with focal fire pit,  bar and restaurant are designed with focal views centered on the iconic Mt. Fuji silhouette.
