Located in the Andaman Sea off the southern tip of Myanmar, this 380 hectare island with pristine white sandy beaches and lush tropical jungle was formerly known to harbor smuggling and piracy activities.  With governmental encouragement to clean up these illegal operations, the developer proposed to build a beautiful island retreat with “free-port” and gaming concessions thereby creating the ultimate “duty-free” shop.  An airport with 2000 meter jet capabale runway, marina, and ferry boat terminal allow convenient visitor access.  Major elements of the master plan include an eighteen hole golf course, theme park, casino, three hotels, and village center.
